One K9 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of veterans by addressing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), preventing veteran suicide, and fostering long-term stability. With a collaborative "no wrong door" approach, we partner with the Govenor's Challange, Indiana Departmnet of Veterans Affairs (IDVA), the VA, and the local organizations like Bowen Helath, Northeast Indiana Works and Connect Allen County to provide seamless acess to resources in healthcare, housing, employment, and crsis intervention. Guided by a "verteans helping veterans"philosophy, we focus on suicide prevention, service dog placement, and holistic care, building a strong network to empower and uplift the veteran community across Indiana and beyond.
